The “Closer To Over” video, directed by BENMARC, vividly captures the emotional depth and complexity of HUNXHO’s music. The visuals juxtapose the lavish backdrop of a strip club with introspective scenes of the artist, underscoring the tension between external opulence and internal struggle. Despite the surroundings of cash piles and dancers, HUNXHO’s focus remains on his pain and his thoughts, delivering an unfiltered performance that resonates with raw authenticity.
The track has already garnered over 10 million global streams. It was featured as one of XXL’s “The 13 Best New Hip-Hop Songs This Week,” while HotNewHipHop lauded the track, noting, “Hunxho wears his heart on his sleeve.”
HUNXHO’s summer is set to get even hotter as he joins Sexyy Red on the “Sexyy Red 4 President” Tour. The tour kicks off on August 22 in Seattle at WAMU Theater and spans major cities across the United States, concluding on October 1 in Nashville, TN at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.
Recently, HUNXHO also delivered a remarkable performance at The BET Awards pre-show, where he performed “Your Friends” and “Closer To Over.”
