Layla Red doesn’t feel much remorse after blasting Kai Cenat over an alleged sexual encounter earlier this year.
In April, the OnlyFans model shared images of Cenat allegedly sleeping beside her in bed, accusing the Twitch streamer of not paying her $5,000 in “hush money” following an initial $5,000 deposit. But Cenat confronted Red, born Kierra Rush, in a follow-up livestream, accusing her of violating the terms of their non-disclosure agreement and “lying” on him.
Cenat showed receipts that alll he paid for was her $50 Uber.
Red has since addressed the Cenat situation in a new interview with DJ Smallz, somewhat apologizing to him, although she stood beside her decision to expose his alleged non-payment.
When asked about the “biggest opportunity you’ve received and passed on” at the 1-minute mark of the video below, Red responded by claiming that Cenat gave her an “ultimatum.”
“He said, ‘Either I can put you on or I can give you this money,'” Red recalled of the alleged conversation. “I’m not saying I regret it, but would I have not taken the money. Maybe the second time around, actually looking back how things turned out? Maybe. … Not saying I regret what happened, but possibly, because maybe I could have made my name bigger than just taking the money.”
Red questioned whether she could trust Cenat but admitted that she would’ve “changed the series of events.” She added that rather than being tired of questions about Cenat, she enjoys them. “Do you know how many rooms my name was in?” she asked, continuing, “I love it. No publicity is bad publicity.”
While claiming to “feel bad” because she “didn’t want to do it,” Red added that Cenat got “caught in the fire” of her “not playing that shit.”
She concluded by showing a change of heart–kind of–by apologizing to Cenat for how the situation ended. “But am I kissing ass? Am I really, really sorry about exposing you for not paying me? No,” she said. “But am I sorry for how it turned out? Yeah, ’cause we could have handled it better.”
As a sign-off, Red ended with, “Fuck you, bitch, pay me! Where’s my motherfucking money?”
Cenat has productively moved on after the controversy with his hit Mafiathon 2 subathon, which concludes on November 30.
