After securing a number-one hit in March with “Through The Night,” red-hot new singer Maeta continues to feel the rhythm of the night and drops the sizzling new album, Endless Night.
The album is produced entirely by KAYTRANADA. Featureless, the album includes songwriting by award-winning songwriters James Fauntleroy and Ant Clemons. Led by “Endless Night,” the 7-song album also includes buzzing singles “Turn Me On” and “DJ Got Me.”
Endless Night follows Maeta’s debut album When I Hear Your Name, which includes the #1 hit “Through The Night.” Throughout her five-year career, she developed a fanbase with soothering vocals about love and heartbreak and breakout songs like “Questions,” “Bitch Don’t Be Mad,” and “S(EX).”
Maeta began pursuing music in 2019, uploading her first song, “Debbie Downer,” to Soundcloud. That same year, she released Do Not Disturb, her debut EP and relocated to Los Angeles to continue her pursuit. She previously collaborated with KAYTRANADA on the song “Teen Scene.”
Endless Night is the singer’s debut album after signing to Roc Nation in April. “Maeta has one of those rare natural voices that will stop you in your tracks,” said Omar Grant, Roc Nation Co-President. “When I heard her sing live for the first time, she already had the poise, presence, and instincts of a much more established artist. I’m so glad she is beginning her career at Roc Nation.”
The singer’s resume includes collaborations with some of R&B’s biggest names in R&B such as Kehlani, Ty Dolla $ign, Chris Brown, and SZA. In April, Maeta inked a new publishing deal with Warner Chappelle Music.
“Maeta’s talent is undeniable,” Ryan Press, president of North American regions for WCM told Variety. “Her soulful vocals and authentic storytelling not only set her apart from other new, up-and-coming talent but also allow her to resonate with fans on a personal level. Her journey is one we deeply believe in, and we’re excited to welcome her to the Warner Chappell family.”
