Can you believe we’re already in Week 4? We have some exciting matchups this week, with some teams fighting to get their first win.
Cowboys at Giants
What is wrong with the Cowboys? They signed Ceedee Lamb and Dak Prescott to big contracts but it seems like they forgot they you need a defense too. Micah Parsons can’t do it all by himself. This is a game where Dallas is a little more desperate than the Giants. Give me the Cowboys in this one 31-17.
Saints at Falcons
The Falcons have played well this year but only have a record of 1-2 to show for. The Saints went off the first two games before getting shutdown last game by the Eagles. The Saints will fall again as the Falcons get their 2nd win at home. Falcons 27 Saints 24.
Rams at Bears
Caleb Williams is still getting used to the speed of this league and the calibyr of play. Also, the defense needs to step up to give them a chance in these games. Rams win this one by 10, Rams 24 Bears 14.
Vikings at Packers
Watch out the Vikings are 3-0 and look pretty darn good. Will this success keep up as they play their division rival Packers. Green Bay is a tough place to play and I think this is a low scoring game with the Packers edging out the Vikings, 21-20.
Steelers at Colts
The Steelers D has been unstoppable this year led by TJ Watt. Justin Fields has done enough to keep them in games with his legs. Steelers stay undefeated as they beat the young QB Anthony Richardson. This game will be an ugly close game 17 – 13.
Broncos at Jets
The Broncos played well this week but have to travel to New York to play Aaron Rodgers’ Jets. Look for the Jets to continue their winning ways, 28 – 17.
Eagles at Bucs
Who is the real Bucs team? We know they can score and Baker is playing very well. I think they get back to their winning ways this week and outscore the Eagles by 4. Bucs 27 Eagles 23.
Bengals at Panthers
To say the Bengals are desperate is an understatement. They have been in most games but just can’t seem to eek one out. You can blame certain things with Bengals, but I blame the coach Zac Taylor. He needs to call an offense that helps out his depleted defense. This means controlling the clock and running the ball and mixing in some play action. To throw the ball 35 times doesn’t help them. This game the more desperate and better team will win. Bengals 30 Panthers 13.
Jaguars at Texans
What has happened to the Jaguars? More importantly, what has happened to their defense, who has talented edge rushers. Their slide continues this week with a loss to the Texans 21 – 17.
Commanders at Cardinals
Jayden Daniels has the maturity and poise to be something very special. He had a flawless game last week but in the NFL you have to be consistent each week and stay level-headed. This will be a tough one for the Commanders going against a mobile QB in Kyler Murray and a fine young receiver in Marvin Harrison Jr. I like the Commanders on a last second FG, Commanders 23 Cardinals 20.
Patriots at 49ers
The 49ers have been decimated by key injuries this year. Jordan Montgomery has been a pleasenat surprise but they need more help from other players. That will come this week as they beat the Patriots by 10, 49ers 27 Patriots 17.
Browns at Raiders
Look for the Raiders with their two running back to be too much for the Browns. The Raiders D will be all over Desaun Waston in this one. Raiders 27 Browns 13.
Chiefs at Chargers
The Chiefs will stay undefeated as they travel to LA. Especially with Justin Herbert’s health in question.
Chiefs 30 Chargers 22.
Bills at Ravens
This will be the game of the week as the Bills travel to Baltimore. Baltimore got back on track last week against the hapless Cowboys but face a stiffer test this week. Buffalo has been firing on all cylinders and don’t seem to miss Stefan Diggs too much. The Ravens can’t keep up with Buffalo’s offense but may be able to slow them down. I like the Ravens 28 -24 in a close one, and a possible preview of the AFC Championship.
Titans at Dolphins
What happens when your QB goes down during the season? Well the Dolphins and their weapons rely heavily on Tua and without them their different players. The Dolphins can win this game but it will be a low scoring grind. I’ll take the Phins 20-17.
Seahawks at Lions
Another good game this week as the Seahawks travel to Detroit. Detroit is tough at home and will give Geno Smith a hard time this week. Look for the pass rush to be too much as they edge the Seahawks 24-14.
