The NFL world was shocked two years ago when the Kansas City Chiefs, fresh off losing in the AFC Championship Game to the Cincinnati Bengals, traded star wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins.

It was thought the Chiefs had taken a step back by doing so, but of course, they ended up winning the last two Super Bowl championships.

Hill said on “The Dive Bar Podcast” that whenever he would play “Madden” in the past, he would trade himself to the Dolphins because he has always been a fan of them, per FinsXtra.

Hill made the Pro Bowl and the All-Pro First Team while leading the NFL in punt return yards and touchdowns, and the following year, he became a full-time wideout.

He’s nicknamed “Cheetah” because of his blinding speed down the field while running pass patterns, and since coming to the Dolphins, he has helped make them arguably the game’s most explosive offensive team.

Last season, they were second in points scored and first in both passing yards and total yards as Hill flirted with the league’s all-time record for receiving yards in a single season.

An ankle injury in December proved to be enough of a speed bump to prevent him from breaking Calvin Johnson’s record in that category, but he still led the NFL with 1,799 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.

This coming season, Miami is hoping to take the next step by building on their 11-6 record from 2023 and winning their first playoff game in over 20 years.
